ARKEMA
Ajdari tapped as new CTO
At the beginning of 2022, Armand Ajdari is set to become the new chief technology officer at French speciality chemicals group Arkema (Colombes; www.arkema.com). The 53-year-old physicist and engineer comes from a similar position at building materials group Saint-Gobain, where he has been vice-president of R&D since 2017. Previously, he was the director at the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Paris.

Ajdari fills a position previously held by Christian Collette, who passed away last April (see Plasteurope.com of 24.11.2021).
