Prosperplast (Rybarzowice / Poland; www.prosperplast.de) is planning to build a new branch in Bautzen / Germany. In the city’s “Salzenforst” industrial estate, the manufacturer of plastic gardening articles such as planters, composters, palisades, watering cans and snow shovels had already acquired an approximately 4.7 hectare plot of land in 2020.
“The area offers good conditions for our assembly and commissioning centre due to its accessibility,” says Peter Nocon, the managing director of Prosperplast’s German subsidiary. “In addition to this, we also hope for good cooperation with the local plastics industry in and around Bautzen going forward.”
Construction of the new production facility, which is expected to employ 50 people in the future, is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2021. So far, the Polish company has an office in Wolnzach in Bavaria / Germany, and a warehouse in Löbau. Production takes place at three locations in Poland – at the headquarters in Rybarzowice in the south of the country and the two plants in Buczkowice and Zywiec. There are additional sales offices in the Czech Republic and Hungary.
