The 11th edition of the plastics trade fair “Plastindia”, which was to take place from 17 to 21 February 2022 in New Delhi, has been postponed again due to coronavirus. The same was announced recently by organiser Plastindia Foundation (Mumbai / India; www.plastindia.org). The new dates are now 1 to 5 February 2023. The same was also confirmed by co-organiser Messe Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.messe-duesseldorf.de).
The 11th instalment of Plastindia was originally supposed to take place in February 2021 but was postponed by a year due to the pandemic, and the Covid-19 situation on the subcontinent remains tense.
The last Plastindia in 2018 reported 1,800 exhibitors – 550 of them from abroad – and around 246,000 visitors from 44 countries (see Plasteurope.com of 28.02.2018). This makes Plastindia the second largest plastics trade fair in Asia after “Chinaplas” (www.chinaplasonline.com) in Shenzhen respectively in Guangdong.
