KETER
Israeli consumer goods producer to increase recycled content
Injection moulder Keter Plastic (Herzliya / Israel; www.keter.com) says it plans to make all products with 55% recycled material by 2025 and 80% recycled material by 2028. The current level is just over 40% for garden furniture, planters, toolboxes, and garden sheds. The group, which achieved a turnover of EUR 1.2 bn in 2020, said it stopped producing disposable plastic products several years ago.

The company’s 24 production sites in Europe, Israel and North America mainly process polypropylene, along with very small quantities of TPE, for example for sealing rings on storage containers for fresh food. Keter employs 5,100 people worldwide.
