Italian PU system specialist Coim (Settimo Milanese; www.coimgroup.com) said it has taken a majority stake in Spain’s Neoflex (Elche; www.neoflex.es), a move completed in April 2021. The Spanish company specialises in one- and two-component adhesives and reactive hot melt products, according to Coim.

Coim president and CEO Giuseppe Librandi said, “The downstream integration of our polyesters will allow us to decisively enter a high value-added and growing speciality market.” Both companies are hoping for strong synergies, with Neoflex expected to use Coim to promote exports to international markets.
