Plastic packaging manufacturer Plast-Box (Slupsk / Poland; www.plast-box.com) has opened a new 3,800 m2 warehouse and logistics centre near Warsaw that will handle deliveries in south-eastern and central Poland and serve as the hub for the group’s Plast-Box packaging and Stark Partner (www.stark.pl) food industry packaging brands (see Plasteurope.com of 01.02.2019).
The warehouse, which Plast-Box is renting, has a capacity of nearly 4,300 pallet places and is located at the intersection of two major regional thoroughfares connecting Bialystok and Warsaw with Łódź and Wroclaw – the third and fourth largest cities in Poland, respectively.
Plast-Box also recently reported the intensification of its sustainability efforts. For example, the company now offers packaging solutions based on up to 60% recyclate from post-consumer waste.
