Marc Monnin appointed new director general of Spanish plastics association

The board of the Centro Español de Plásticos (CEP, Barcelona / Spain; www.cep-plasticos.com) has appointed Marc Monnin as the new director general. He succeeds Ángel Lozano, who has held the position since 2012 and will continue to serve the association as an advisor during the transition period.
Monnin holds a degree in chemical engineering from the French Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes and a diploma in business management from the EAE Barcelona Finance School. He served as the managing director, as well as chairman of the board of directors, at Spanish additives manufacturer Hebron (Barcelona; www.hebronsa.es), part of the Otsuka Chemical Group. In 2013, he was also one of the founders of the “ADCA Task Force”, an interest group for azodicarbonamide, of which he was chairman until 2019.
