Pat Chambliss appointed new CEO

US medical packaging producer Nelipak (Cranston, Rhode Island; www.nelipak.com) recently announced that Pat Chambliss has been appointed as the company’s next CEO. Chambliss brings with him senior leadership experience, with Packaging Dynamics and Novolex.
Chambliss will succeed Roger Prevot, who was appointed CEO in October 2019 (see Plasteurope.com of 30.10.2019). Prevot will continue in his role as chairman of the board of directors, a position he has held since the acquisition of Nelipak by compatriot private equity firm Kohlberg & Company (Mount Kisco, New York; www.kohlberg.com) in July 2019 (see Plasteurope.com of 08.07.2019).
With a staff of over 1,400, the US packaging manufacturer operates ten production facilities – three in the US, in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, one each in Costa Rica and Puerto Rico, and five in Europe, one located in the Netherlands, two each in Ireland and in the UK.
