Ecopol used a EUR 9m loan to buy back its own shares and build the new production facility. For the plant, which currently employs 12, the next expansion stage, which includes the installation of additional extrusion lines, is planned for 2021. The total investment will then be around EUR 20m.
This year, the company said it expects sales of EUR 14m “despite the Covid-19 pandemic”, which would correspond to an increase of EUR 6.3m compared to the previous year. The number of employees is expected to rise from its current level of 60 to 100 or more next year.
PVA solutions from the company, which was founded in 2009, are used to package detergents, detergent tablets and agricultural chemicals.
