Dodd appointed president of distribution

US compounder and distributor Avient (Avon Lake, Ohio; www.avient.com) has named Cathy Dodd senior vice-president, president of distribution. She succeeds Scott Horn, who is set to retire. Avient president and CEO Robert Patterson said Dodd’s “expertise in product development, speed-to-market, and industry trends will provide our customers and suppliers immeasurable value.”
Dodd joined the former PolyOne (see Plasteurope.com of 02.07.2020) in 2014 as VP of marketing and was later appointed chief commercial officer. She previously worked for various companies in the industry, including Eastman, Honeywell and Ashland Oil.
