Initially set to take place from 9-12 January 2020 in Dubai / United Arab Emirates, show organiser Al Fajer Information & Services (Dubai; www.alfajer.net) has announced that the 15th edition of “ArabPlast” (www.arabplast.info) will not take place as scheduled due to the health risk for visitors and exhibitors in the face of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the event will now run from 15-18 November 2021.

The biannual international trade show for the plastics, petrochemical, packaging and rubber industries is considered the leading event for the sector in the region. The 2019 edition gathered 914 exhibitors and around 15,000 visitors from 108 countries, with some 40% coming from the Arabian Peninsula.
