Machinery associations Acimac, Amaplast and Ucima unite resources
A new collaboration between the Italian machinery associations Amaplast (Milan; www.amaplast.org – plastics and rubber), Ucima (Baggiovara; www.ucima.it – packaging) and Acimac (Baggiovara; www.acimac.it – ceramics) will be led by Amaplast director Mario Maggiani. He was elected following the executive committees of the three organisations deciding to implement the new inter-association project to pool resources and provide greater support for member companies, including for trade fairs, technical regulations, market research and financing.

The three associations represent more than 1,000 companies, with 55,000 employees and sales totalling over EUR 14 bn. Around 70% of this revenue is from exports.
