ML Polyolefins (Elblag / Poland; www.mlpolyolefins.com) has developed a new “unique” recycled HDPE blend for extrusion, characterised by a high stability of technical parameters and repeatability. The Polish recyclate manufacturer said it has designed “Pipefin HD46” to meet specific quality and technical requirements during processing, with the material maintaining high impact strength and low melt flow rate. It is available in grey and black pellets and is suited for injection moulding and extrusion processes.
President Tomasz Mikulski said that unlike many recycling companies that create universal products, ML Polyolefins develops its materials in terms of specific production lines. Production director Andrzej Szapeta said the company has a diversified customer portfolio, and it can develop customised resins according to individual needs.
In May, the company announced that it had started to expand the post-consumer recycled resins it offers (see Plasteurope.com of 27.05.2020).
