Roberto Bozzi has been re-elected as president of industry association Vinyl Films and Sheets Europe (VFSE, Brussels / Belgium; www.vfse.org) for the next two years. Bozzi is the CEO of Vulcaflex, a Vinyl Foundation board member and vice president of Confindustria Romagna.
Also re-elected were Cifra CEO Michel Py as vice president and Berry Plastics managing director Gabriele Ditsch as board treasurer. The newly elected VSFE board members are Pascal Marly (Cotting), Stefano Mele (Fabbri) and Frederic Monsonnec (Klöckner Pentaplast).
Bozzi noted that the association is “following very closely the developments in the coronavirus crisis and is in constant dialogue with the various plastics associations and policymakers in order to evaluate the impact of the crisis on the PVC markets.” He said VFSE will continue defending short-term applications for PVC and progress the association’s sustainability and recycling agenda.
