Italy’s Radici (Bergamo; www.radicigroup.com) has appointed Switzerland’s B. Bigler (Zug; www.biglerag.com) to distribute a range of its high-performance polymers in Germany. The deal, which took effect on 18 May 2020, includes the products “Raditer” (PBT) , “Heraflex” (copolyester), “Torzen” (PA 6.6), “Raditeck” (PPS, PA 6.6 yarns), “Radilon” (PA 6, PA 6.6, PA 6.10, PA 12, PPA), “Heramid” (rPA 6 and rPA 6.6), “Radiflam” (flame-retardant grades of PA and polyester) and “Radistrong” (speciality polyamide).
Radici said the move is part of a reorganisation of its sales network in the German market. Rolf Behringer, Radici’s sales manager for the region comprising Austria, Germany and Switzerland, added that the company is taking one more step to strengthen its long-term presence in Germany, noting that the companies have been cooperating for a long time in Switzerland.
B. Bigler has a logistics hub in Weiterstadt / Germany. It said the centre here will benefit German customers looking for fast delivery of small quantities, ranging from 25 kg up to full pallets.
