German speciality chemicals distributor Grolman (Neuss; www.grolman-group.com) has started a distribution agreement with titanium dioxide producer Venator (Stockton-on-Tees / UK; www.venatorcorp.com) covering ultramarine and manganese violet pigments in Spain and Portugal. The agreement represents an expansion of an existing relationship between the two companies which covers several other European countries.
Venator is a leading supplier for ultramarine blue, violet and pink as well as manganese violet pigments, for use in a variety of applications, the companies said in a joint statement. Grolman will bring its technical expertise in the pigment area to the cooperation agreement. It has been involved in the ultramarine and manganese violet pigments business for decades, the companies added.
