Boris Fröhlich new CEO of Medical division

German plastics group Röchling (Mannheim; www.roechling.com) has announced that Boris Fröhlich is the new CEO of its Medical segment with effect from 1 January 2020, succeeding Hanns-Peter Knaebel. Fröhlich will also become chief sales officer of the division. In addition to his role as group CEO, Knaebel will in future be responsible for the Automotive and Medical units on the group’s executive board and take over as chairman of Röchling Medical’s executive board. Evelyn Thome, CFO of the Röchling group, will also take on the role of CFO at Röchling Medical.
Fröhlich previously worked for pharmaceutical and medical technology company B. Braun Melsungen. He was managing director of B. Braun Deutschland and senior vice president of marketing and sales Germany. Before this, he held various positions at medical technology company Aesculap, a subsidiary of B. Braun Melsungen.
