Taking place in Moscow / Russia from 28-31 January 2020, the 23rd “Interplastica” (www.interplastica.de) plastics and rubber trade fair is set to host around 680 exhibitors from some 30 countries at the “AO Expocenter Krasnaja Presnja”. Austria, China, Italy and Germany will have official representation on site. At the same time and location, 250 exhibitors will showcase innovations in packaging machinery, technology and materials at the “Upakovka” (www.upakovka-tradefair.com) processing and packaging trade fair. Organiser Messe Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.messe-duesseldorf.com) expects a total of 25,000 visitors at the two events, and admission is valid for both trade fairs.
In line with Russia’s plans to update its waste management infrastructure and develop a market for recycling solution providers over the coming years, Interplastica has set up a “Recycling Solutions” forum. In addition to panel discussions focusing on waste management in Russia, over 50 exhibitors will present recycling and recovery solutions.
The trade fair’s “Polymer Plaza” will this time feature discussions and talks on the production, application and utilisation of raw materials with a focus on innovation and sustainability. This year’s Interplastica will also host the fourth edition of “3D fab+print Russia”, a special exhibition on additive manufacturing, where international experts will discuss the technology’s developments, opportunities and challenges, with exhibitors showcasing products and solutions.
