UK government offering webinars for European companies / Expectations of trade across border

The UK government is currently offering a series of “Brexit readiness” webinars for EU businesses engaged in trade with the UK. The government’s “Border Delivery Group” (BDG) webinars run for 90 minutes on a weekly rotation and aim to provide clarity on what is expected of companies, their trading partners and the supply chain upon the UK’s withdrawal from the EU as well as what can be done in preparation before 31 October 2019.

There are online seminars in six major industries:
  • agriculture and food
  • automotive
  • chemicals
  • general traders
  • hauliers and logistics
  • life sciences
