Film release liners manufacturer Loparex (Cary, North Carolina / USA; www.loparex.com) announced that it had completed the integration of specialty films producer Infiana (Forchheim / Germany; www.infiana.com) into its organization. The integration process began in September 2019 after private equity firm Pamplona Capital Management (London / UK; www.pamplonafunds.com) acquired both companies (see Plasteurope.com of 27.08.2019).
Loparex’s portfolio now covers direct coated and poly-coated paper liners alongside direct coated, poly coated, blown and cast film solutions. It also has a broad range of substrates and paper types, coupled with in-house embossing, coating, slitting, and printing capabilities.
The company also offers solutions such as discreet and ultra-lightweight pouch films, liners with permanent antistatic equipment, and air egress liners for graphic applications. Infiana was previously Huhtamaki’s (Espoo / Finland; www.huhtamaki.com) films division (see Plasteurope.com of 16.01.2015).
