With effect from 1 October 2019, Biesterfeld (Hamburg / Germany; www.biesterfeld.com) will have the sales rights for DuPont’s (Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com) “Selar PA 3426R” in the EMEA region. The German company has been distributing the material for Brazil since June 2019.
Selar PA 3426R is an amorphous polyamide that is transparent and has good barrier properties, such as against gases, water, solvents and essential oils. The resin can be used in various types of flexible and rigid packaging as well as multilayer packaging for food and beverages.
