Tony Radoszewski is next head of US organisation

Effective 16 September 2019, the Plastics Industry Association (Plastics, Washington, D.C. / USA; www.plasticsindustry.org) has announced that Tony Radoszewski will become the next president and chief executive officer. He has almost 40 years of experience in the plastics industry, including working at Phillips Chemical, Phillips Sumika Polypropylene, a former joint venture of Phillips Chemical and Sumitomo Chemical, and US plastic pipes manufacturer Advanced Drainage Systems. In 2006, Radoszewski became president of the Plastics Pipe Institute (Irving, Texas / USA; www.plasticpipe.org).
“Tony is a skilled, experienced executive leader with the demonstrated ability to build critical relationships with key stakeholders, drive member benefits, positively enhance the profile of the industry and advance critical initiatives that will challenge us going forward,” said Plastics’ board chairman Wylie Royce. The former president and CEO, Bill Carteaux, passed away in December 2018, having led the association for nearly 15 years – see Plasteurope.com of 12.12.2018. Patty Long has been serving as the interim president and CEO.
