BODO MÖLLER CHEMIE
German distributor plans to advance its business with solutions for e-cars
Speciality chemicals distributor Bodo Möller Chemie (Offenbach / Germany; www.bm-chemie.de) has launched its “Future Automobile Solutions” (FASt) initiative. With this move, the company is demonstrating the extent of its portfolio beyond adhesives – its main driver in addition to automotive – such as products for communication technology components for electric and hybrid cars. These include materials in Bodo Möller’s Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE) business unit, which would play an important role in lightweight construction, insulation and installation of battery packs as well as thermal management for e-cars.

In order to strengthen the business unit in this direction, the German company has created the position of vice president for global business management. Florian Krückl is commissioned with establishing a sales and partner network for materials to be used in future mobile solutions. Bodo Möller expects the FASt initiative to result in a substantial growth of sales.
