Capacity expansion for "Macrolex" dyes in Germany completed

Lanxess (Cologne / Germany; www.lanxess.com) has completed its expansion for "Macrolex" dyes production in Leverkusen / Germany. The company invested EUR 5m to increase capacity by around 25% at the site, with six jobs being created. The expansion was announced in early 2018 – see Plasteurope.com of 27.02.2018 – and the plant officially started up at the beginning of May 2019.
The soluble, organic Macrolex dyes produced are mainly used for colouring plastic products (polystyrene, polycarbonate, ABS, PMMA and PET) such as beverage bottles, electronic equipment, car tail lights and toys.
