Construction of new plant in Russia / Biodegradable film production

India's largest flexible packaging manufacturer, Uflex (Noida, Uttar Pradesh; www.flexfilm.com), is constructing a plant to produce biodegradable films in Russia. The facility will be located on an area of around 10 hectares in the special economic zone "Stupino Quadrat".
According to the SEZ, the project has an investment of around USD 75m and some 150 jobs are expected to be created. Start-up of the plant is expected in 2020. Stupino Quadrat is about 100 km south of Moscow.
