Name change for Danish packaging manufacturer
Faerch (Holstebro / Denmark; www.faerch.com) is the new name for the former Færch Plast, a thermoformed packaging manufacturer. The company says it is a shift in focus from being a plastics processor to developing and recycling packaging as well. In addition, the Danish "æ" has given way to an "ae", with the company's increased presence in European. Faerch's production and sales locations are distributed throughout Europe, including in the Czech Republic, France, Spain and the UK.

Faerch has been part of the private equity firm Advent International (Boston, Massachusetts / USA; www.adventinternational.com) since mid-2017 – see Plasteurope.com of 12.06.2017. The company employs around 1,300 people.
