New extrusion line in Belgium for agriculture applications

The expansion in Hoogstraten / Belgium announced by RKW (Frankenthal / Germany; www.rkw-group.com) in 2018 has now been put into operation. With the installation of a 7-layer line, the European market leader for polyolefin films has increased capacity at the Belgian plant by more than 10%. The 8-18 m wide films produced here are suitable for applications in agriculture and horticulture. The expansion in Hoogstraten is part of an investment programme for agricultural films in the amount of over EUR 20m.
In 2018, RKW generated sales of EUR 878m. A workforce of about 3,000 processes 367,000 t of plastics each year at 20 locations across the globe.
