Chemical distributor Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC, Hamburg / Germany; www.nordmann.global) now operates under the uniform brand Nordmann. The group said it made the change to emphasise its international presence, particularly following its 2017 acquisition of UK speciality chemicals distributor Melrob, which strengthened its operations in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America – see Plasteurope.com of 22.09.2017.

“Expanding our international presence and repositioning ourselves under the unified Nordmann brand were the next two logical steps in our development as an internationally successful group of companies,” said managing director Gerd Bergmann. The group said that, while all of its 26 companies will now be known as Nordmann, they will keep their independence and organisational structure – to retain flexibility.
