Furthering plans to build a 750,000 t/y propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant at its production site in Kallo / Belgium – see Plasteurope.com of 10.10.2018Borealis (Vienna / Austria; www.borealisgroup.com) has awarded Tecnimont, the main contractor of Italian engineering group Maire Tecnimont (Milan; www.mairetecnimont.com), with the engineering, procurement, construction management and commissioning services contract for the facility. According to Plasteurope.com's Polyglobe database (www.polyglobe.net), Borealis has a PP capacity of 385,000 t/y in Kallo.

Maire Tecnimont recently invested in an Italian plant that will produce recycled polymers from plastics waste – see Plasteurope.com of 01.03.2019.
