UK packaging group RPC (Rushden; www.rpc-group.com) has acquired Neluplast Tiefzieh-Technik (Opfenbach / Germany; www.neluplast.de), with effect from 1 January 2019. The German company develops, produces and sells thermoformed plastic packaging for the food and beverage industry as well as non-food markets in Western Europe. It has around 90 employees.
The UK group says the buy strengthens RPC Bebo's activities through cost and technical/product synergies alongside a thermoforming toolmaking facility in Opfenbach. The company now operates as RPC Bebo Opfenbach, with Neluplast's management being retained.
