Additive and colour specialist Ampacet (Tarrytown, New York / USA; www.ampacet.com) said it expects to start up two new colour production lines in Dudelange / Luxembourg in the second quarter of 2019. One of the two lines will be dedicated to the production of engineering polymers. “Both lines will further reduce lead times and increase flexibility for delivery of polyolefin-based colour masterbatches,” stated Ampacet.

The company has also nearly doubled the size of its R&D operations at the site. The expansion includes a new injection moulding machine and a blow moulding machine that will speed up colour matching services and testing of PET applications.
