"Plastics Recycling Show Europe" 2019 to take place in Amsterdam in April
The annual "Plastics Recycling Show Europe" (PRSE, www.prseventeurope.com) will again be held at the "RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre" (www.rai.nl) in Amsterdam / The Netherlands from 10-11 April 2019. Admission is free of charge. The organisers, Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE, Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticsrecyclers.eu) and Crain Communications (Detroit, Michigan / USA; www.crain.com), have released the conference programme and more than 100 exhibitors have already registered. This year the event moves to the larger Hall 7 of the RAI centre to accommodate the growing numbers of exhibitors and visitors.
The opening of the conference on 10 April will focus on the latest developments and trends in plastics recycling in Europe. Daniel Stricker, Plasteurope.com's head of market research and editor-in-chief of German-language sister publication KI, will present the current state of affairs of the European plastics recycling industry, the legislation landscape and plastics recycling figures in Europe. There will also be updates to the EU's plastics strategy. Following that will be material-focused sessions covering PET, PVC and engineering plastics.
The second day will have sessions on technology, innovation and recyclability of plastic products as well as polyolefin materials and waste streams. Speakers here include Gilonne Traub of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Gian De Belder of P&G, Dow Europe's Karlheinz Hausmann for the LDPE session and Henkel’s Leopold Thorsten for the HDPE session.
