Plastic Omnium (Levallois / France; www.plasticomnium.com) has found a buyer for its environment business – see Plasteurope.com of 26.09.2017. The French company has signed a put option for the sale of its subsidiary Plastic Omnium Environment with a consortium comprising investment company Latour Capital (Paris / France; www.latour-capital.fr) and investment bank Bpifrance (Paris; www.bpifrance.fr). The transaction is scheduled to close by the end of 2018. Financial details have not been disclosed.

Plastic Omnium's environmental business, which includes waste collection systems provider Sulo (Herford / Germany; www.sulo.com), employs 1,800 people in 12 countries, with annual sales of around EUR 330m. The deal will enable the Plastic Omnium to concentrate entirely on its automotive business in the future.
