Roland Roth elected president of German plastics converters association

The German plastics converters association Gesamtverband Kunststoffverarbeitende Industrie (GKV, Bad Homburg; www.gkv.de) held its delegates meeting on 27 June 2018, where Roland Roth was elected as the new president. He succeeds Dirk Westerheide, who has held the position for the last four years.
Roth is well known in the plastics industry. After many years as CEO, he is now a supervisory board member of films manufacturer RKW (Frankenthal / Germany; www.rkw-group.com). Since 2010, he has been president of the German plastic packaging industry association Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen (IK, Bad Homburg; www.kunststoffverpackungen.de).
