PE film producer Crocco (Cornedo Vicentino / Italy; www.crocco.com) has expanded production at its headquarters for approximately EUR 10m. A plant was installed for 7-layer cast films and the company also built a new warehouse.
Crocco operates three film facilities at its headquarters, which primarily process PE into packaging films. In addition, the recycling company T&T reprocesses the production waste. Together, the four locations have an area of 75,000 m². In 2016, film output totalled some 50,000 t and the group, with a total of 240 employees, had sales of EUR 115m.
The company, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, offers products that include "Aliprot" film for food packaging, shrink hoods and pallet stretch film. Crocco also produces technical protective film for industrial applications, in both mono-material and coextruded versions.
