German speciality chemicals distributor Bodo Möller Chemie Group (Offenbach; www.bm-chemie.de) has set up a branch office in Tel Aviv / Israel. From 1 July 2017, the new subsidiary known as BM Chemie Israel (www.bm-chemie.co.il) will distribute the product range of Huntsman Advanced Materials (The Woodlands, Texas / USA; www.huntsman.com). This includes basic grades of epoxy resins, formulated systems and speciality composites sold to the adhesives and electronics sector as well as users of coating systems. The main focus of this Huntsman business is on the aviation and aerospace industry and the processing of composite materials, the distributor said.

"Israel is a high-tech location, and there is great demand for specialised solutions in many complex industries. A suitably qualified team on site is needed to provide advice and handling,” said the group’s CEO, Frank Haug. With its new location, Bodo Möller is expanding its international business in the Middle East. In the long-term, Israeli customers will benefit from additional products and an expanded raw material portfolio, the company said.
