JEC WORLD 2017
Record number of visitors in Paris
The world’s largest composites trade fair, "JEC World 2017" (www.jeccomposites.com), took place from 14-16 March in Paris / France (see Plasteurope.com of 22.02.2017), with record-breaking figures reported. The event recorded a 10% increase of professional visitors compared to 2016, with 40,607 attendees comprising 78% international visitors from 113 countries. Other key figures on JEC World 2017 include 1,300 exhibitors, 6 conferences, 53 speakers and 2 halls totalling 65,000 m².
The four “Innovation planets” showcased the latest composites innovations in aerospace, automotive, better living and building. “JEC Group’s strategy towards end-users is a winning one as we welcomed more architects, creators, developers, designers, style engineers and trend-setters” said Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group president & CEO. JEC Group also launched its new publication “The Future of Building” during the trade fair.
Next year, JEC World 2018 will be 6-8 March.
