NCG subsidiary expands North American reconditioning presence / Two purchases in southern US
Mauser Group’s (Brühl / Germany; www.mausergroup.com) reconditioning subsidiary National Container Group (NCG; www.nationalcontainer.com) has expanded its footprint in North America by means of two acquisitions, financial details of which were not disclosed. The companies acquired are Total Container Group (TCG, Kemp, Texas / USA; www.totalcontainergroup.com) and Advantage IBC (Terrell, Texas / USA; www.advantageibc.com). Their addition not only strengthens NCG’s presence in Ohio, Texas and southern California, it also expands its footprint in the southeastern US, the company said.
Founded in 2014 through the merger of industrial container producers K.P. McNamara and RnR Industrial Services, TCG specialises in the manufacture of industrial container solutions, with a portfolio of cans that range in size from less than 1 gallon to 20,000 gallons. In 2015, another industrial container specialist – CMO Enterprises – joined TCG. The company has a wide product and services portfolio that includes drums, IBCs, cans, pails and bottles as well as equipment, empty container pick-up and recycling, and closed loop IBC cleaning and testing.
Advantage IBC operates three facilities, located at its headquarters as well as Humble, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia. Beyond containers, the company also offers pick-up and cleaning services, certifications as well as replacement parts.
Earlier this year, NCG acquired Engineered Recycling (ERC, Charlotte, North Carolina / USA; www.erecycling-usa.com) for an undisclosed amount (see Plasteurope.com of 08.04.2016).
