“2017 IdentiPlast” conference to be held in Vienna in late February / Early bird discount currently available
The 13th international conference on the recycling and recovery of plastics, “IdentiPlast 2017” (www.identiplast.eu/en), is due to take place in Vienna / Austria on 22 and 23 February 2017. Organised by PlasticsEurope (Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticseurope.org), the two-day event will focus on the topic of “Circular Economy and Plastics: Opportunities and Challenges.” The last final touches are being made to the programme, which includes a number of presentations by key industry stakeholders, a networking dinner as well as the “2017 EPRO” awards for best recycled plastic product.
Presentations at the event will focus on the circular economy as an opportunity for the plastics industry, how to divert waste from landfill, recycling capacities today and in the future, plastics waste management and legislation in the US and Japan, automated solutions for waste sorting, the separation of mixed polyolefins for improved recycling, the use of recycled plastics in automobiles, as well as the up-cycling of fluorinated polymers, among others. Speakers will come from a range of companies and associations, including Borealis, Pagev, Plastics Recyclers Europe, Corepla, Ricoh, Opel, Amcor and 3M.
To take advantage of the early bird discount, which offers a 20% rebate on the participation fee, interested parties need to register before 30 November.
