Next “interplastica” to take place in Moscow in January 2017 / More than 600 exhibitors expected
Despite the difficult economic and political situation in Russia, the upcoming "interplastica” (www.interplastica.de) industry fair, held in Moscow from 24-27 January 2017, is expected to draw more than 600 exhibitors, organiser Messe Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.messe-duesseldorf.de) says. In its 20th edition, the international trade fair for plastics and rubber will once again showcase the latest in machinery and equipment, raw materials and auxiliaries, as well as products and services.
The organiser points out that there is ongoing substantial demand for investment in the Russian plastics sector, especially in the consumer goods, technical equipment and packaging segments. This – coupled with the aim of substituting imports – helps explain the rather stable number in exhibitors, most of which will hail from Russia. Other countries strongly represented at the fair include Germany, Italy, Austria, Turkey and Iran.
Held once again alongside the “upakovka” fair (www.upakovka-tradefair.com) for processing and packaging, “interplastica” will include a range of supporting expert events. In addition to the “Meeting Point Raw Materials”, the 2017 edition will also debut a new special show, “3D fab+print Russia”, focused on additive manufacturing and 3D printing.
