TALKE
Logistics sites and activities in The Netherlands and Belgium sold to Katoen Natie / Strategic geographical realignment
Chemicals logistics service provider Talke (Hürth / Germany; www.talke.com) has sold its Belgian and Dutch logistics sites and activities to Katoen Natie Group (KTN, Antwerp / Belgium; www.katoennatie.com). Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Talke said the divestiture is the result of its plans to geographically optimise its portfolio, as part of which the group intends to rid itself of subsidiaries that no longer fit its strategy, while at the same time focusing on activities elsewhere in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US. The German group offers transportation services for bulk liquid and dry goods as well as packaged products, alongside warehouses, container terminals and other services.
