Chinese glass fibre producer Jushi (Tongxiang City, Zhejiang; www.jushi.com) has confirmed its intention to build its first manufacturing facility in the US. A USD 300m, 80,000 t/y plant is to be built in Columbia, South Carolina, with construction expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2016 and completion within two years.
