SCHOELLER ALLIBERT
Plans to expand production capacity in Russia
Container and returnable systems specialist Schoeller Allibert (Zwolle / The Netherlands; www.schoellerallibert.com) is planning to widen its footprint on the Russian market. The company intends to invest EUR 6m in its operations in the country over the course of the next two years, including in new returnable packaging for the food, automotive and light-weighting industries. Its CJSC Schoeller Allibert subsidiary in St. Petersburg is currently looking for local partners to set up production facilities nearby Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod, both located east of Moscow, as well as in the vicinity of its existing plant in St. Petersburg.

The group, which last posted sales of about EUR 1 bn, plans to commission its new plant in Zabrze / Poland by mid-2016 (for most recent coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 07.09.2015).
