Acquisition of German airless dispensers specialist Mega Airless

Dispensing systems manufacturer AptarGroup (Crystal Lake, Illinois / USA; www.aptargroup.com) is to acquire German airless dispensers specialist Mega Airless (Villingen-Schwenningen; www.mega-airless.de) for EUR 200m. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of this year. Mega Airless supplies airless dispensing systems for the beauty, personal care and pharmaceutical markets and has two manufacturing facilities in Germany and one in the USA. The company has projected annual revenues of approximately EUR 61m for 2015 and has achieved EBITDA margins of more than 30% over the last three years, says AptarGroup. Its total workforce comes to about 360.
