“PolyTalk 2016” to be held in Brussels in March / Focus on marine litter
Plastics producers’ association PlasticsEurope (Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticseurope.org) is hosting its annual “PolyTalk” conference (www.polytalk.eu) in the Belgian capital on 16 and 17 March 2016. The focus at this year’s event will be on “Zero Plastics To The Oceans”, examining different solutions to the problem of marine litter, at the global, national and regional level.
The conference and its accompanying exhibition are targeted at policy and decision makers, NGOs, designers and brand owners, as well as players from across the entire plastics value chain. Presentations will centre on topics like the current knowledge level on marine litter, the societal challenge posed by plastics seeping into the oceans, a European strategy as well as best prevention practices.
