Plastic ducts and pipes plant opened in India / Strategically positioned for exports to Asia
Dura-Line Corporation, a subsidiary of Mexican plastic pipe manufacturer Mexichem (Tlalnepantla; www.mexichem.com), has started production at a new plant in India. The facility, which is located in Hyderabad, makes cable ducts and pressure pipes for the water, data communications and gas markets. The plant is Mexichem’s fourth in the country, adding to two others in Goa and one in Neemrana, near Delhi.
Mexichem said the location at Hyderabad in the south of the India will strategically position it for exports to southeast Asia as well as serving local customers and capturing new business opportunities in the region.
