Fourth “PolyTalk” industry summit to be held in Brussels in November
The issues needed to ensure sustainable European growth in a global economy are set to be discussed at the upcoming “PolyTalk 2014”(www.polytalk.eu) industry summit and innovation hub organised by PlasticsEurope (Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticseurope.org). Held in Brussels on 4 and 5 November, the two-day event takes place under the motto “An Industrial Renaissance in Europe…Let’s make it happen”.
The fourth event of its kind, this year’s PolyTalk will focus on how the European petrochemical industry can contribute to raising its share in the EU’s GDP from 15.2% to 20% by 2020. A range of high-level speakers from associations, the European Commission and key petrochemical players are set to present at the event, which will address a range of topics, including Europe’s competitiveness in a global economy, the industry’s status elsewhere in the world, TTIP, raw material competitiveness and future growth, among others.
