In order to drive the market development and sales of its engineering plastics portfolio in Mexico, DSM (Sittard / The Netherlands; www.dsm.com) in late July 2014 entered into a distribution agreement with the Mexican subsidiary of US distributor Channel Prime Alliance (CPA, Des Moines, Iowa; www.channelpa.com). The agreement includes “Akulon” PA 6 filled and unfilled polyamides, “Arnitel” TPC copolyester, “Arnite” PBT and PET polyesters, “Stanyl” high heat PA 4.6 and 4T as well as bio-based “EcoPaXX” PA 4.10 and “Arnitel” Eco copolyester, used mainly in the automotive and E&E markets.

Aside from Mexico, CPA – which belongs to distributor and compounder Ravago (Arendonk / Belgium; www.ravago.com) – is also active in the US and Canada. The company specialises in supplying small and medium-sized injection moulders.
