Thai group acquires La Seda's Turkish subsidiary / Spanish court okays sale
It was only a matter of time before it became official. Now Reuters reports that Barcelona’s Commercial Court has approved the sale of insolvent La Seda de Barcelona’s (Barcelona / Spain) Turkish subsidiary Artenius TurkPET to Thailand’s Indorama Ventures (IVL, Bangkok; www.indorama.net) – for earlier coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 07.02.2014.

IVL reportedly was the sole remaining bidder for the Adana-based operation, which runs a 140,000 t/y PET plant, Plasteurope.com’s Polyglobe capacity database (www.polyglobe.net) shows.
