German plastics and additives distributor Dreyplas (Meerbusch; www.dreyplas.com) has become the European distributor of PEEK (polyether ether ketone) plastics produced by Chinese raw materials processor Jilin Zhong Yan High Performance Plastic (Changchun, Jilin; http://en.joinature.cn). The range covers PEEK powder and granules with high, medium and low viscosity as well as glass and carbon fibre-reinforced PEEK materials in standard grades for direct processing and compounding. Zhong Yan operates a 1,000 t/y PEEK production line at its site in the Changchun Lvyuan economic technological development zone.

Dreyplas plans to supply the products from its European central warehouse. The company’s portfolio consists of raw materials, additives and processing aids – mostly sourced from Asia – for European plastics converters and compounders.
